Politics is inescapable only because the powers that be in the government live and breathe politics on a daily basis. And the decisions they make affects us all. The question is, how should we as Believers get involved? Should we get involved? Or should we just stay "above" all of that, after all it is "of this world", temporal, messy and very divisive. In the next Sunday or two, let’s look at what Scripture says and see how Jesus and some of the Apostles responded to the politics and those who hold the reigns of governmental powers of their generation.
