One day, I was chatting with my dad and asked him how he was doing at work, since I often use that as a conversation starter for us. I grew up with my parents living in different houses, so it hasn’t always been easy to communicate with a parent you only see every weekend. Now, I can finally say that God is slowly restoring the broken relationship and connection between my father and me. This is where my dad’s God story starts. Last December 2023, he was diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis, and his left hip was due for replacement. In addition to that, his right hip was also deteriorating, but it could still be managed with plasma injections every three months.
Through God’s faithfulness, my dad had a successful left hip replacement on September 25, 2024. We never felt any financial drought in other areas of our lives. Until now, he continues to receive plasma injections every three months as maintenance for both hips, and his right hip’s condition has not worsened. In addition to this, throughout the whole year of 2025, he experienced a lack of projects at work (he is one of the Executive Heads at a technology support company in Makati). This resulted in a 20% financial loss in his group’s operating expenses. Just to keep in mind–he shared this with me during a time when our church was teaching about seeds.
That same night, after learning about his situation, I declared divine restoration, meaningful connections, and God’s presence over my dad’s household. Once again, through God’s faithfulness, although it is only the first week of the first month of 2026, 30% of his group’s operating expenses have already been covered by just one project. Not only that–there are still MUCH MORE projects coming in! Truly, God has been faithful to me and my family. We are excited and expectant for MUCH MORE opportunities and His UNSTOPPABLE plans for us!
